It’s been a while since I shared about work related things. Since March when I wound down my involvement in higherrrrrrr I’ve been bouncing around and working on a few different things. I also took 1-2 months of time where I was only working part time (moving + resetting life a bit + focusing on some health stuff). I’m in Texas (gun + God country) full time now but in SF, NYC, and Boulder often.
I don’t want to do more crypto development work - the culture is just too toxic. I’ve been working on some consulting work to cover my basic life expenses so I’m not burning money (ranging from venture backed startups to fortune 500s) and refining the ideas of what that business could look like long term. In addition to the consulting, in June and July I’ve been building two new SaaS products that I’m very excited about and plan on starting to talk about more.
The first is a phone AI product called Wrenchdesk.
Wrenchdesk is a full-stack solution for booking, invoicing, and billing for auto shops built around AI. We take away much of the admin work required to run a shop plus adding business by answering the phone 24/7. It’s going well - the build has been bigger because we needed to go full stack but are getting a good response from customers.
The second is a sales tool called Nourish.
I’ve been building this with a close friend who is in sales and we’re excited about the potential. The idea is that there is a bunch of lost revenue in closed-lost (deals where they didn’t buy) which is lost just by never following up. We scan your gmail inbox (and possibly future CRM) and pull out relevant deals that were missed and draft the email to follow up on them, saving you time and re engaging old leads that otherwise might be overlooked.
This is a smaller build and still isn’t live - we’re waiting on Google app store approval before we can onboard more users.
We’ll see what the coming months bring, but it’s great to be back on the grind, healthy, and focused.
I didn't realize you have become a Texan! Congrats partner
