How Big is the Vibe Coding Industry?

The market for vibe coding is likely also larger than the market for things like wix (web builders), but might be similar in size. Things like chatgpt and claude are also eating this mindshare.

It’s clear that in 2025 there has been a massive phase shift. The react downloads shows that roughly 1.7x the number of react apps are being hosted this year than last year and roughly 3-4x the growth rate from last year (npm trends represents deployments roughly, not a single app, because react gets downloaded on most builds rather than saved statically). Who knows how high this growth goes, but it looks like it isn’t slowing down any time soon - we’re probably through the early adopters on the S-Curve and into the mainstream. Will be exciting to see how big it gets.
